Dan does beautiful, carefully crafted work. I just had a batik piece framed.  When he began milling the reclaimed wood, the colors in the grain turned out to be inconsistent. He conscientiously sent a photo and asked how I'd like to proceed.  The extra colors in the wood picked up the mottled background of the dyed fabric and the result wound up looking even better than what I'd requested. He definitely has an artist's eye and takes pride in his work. Honest, friendly- a pleasure to work with.  I couldn't be happier with the finished product!

I just framed a bunch of pieces and I was thoroughly impressed. He spent a number of hours meticulously helping me find just the right frames for the right pieces. And the prices are great too; it's hard to compare his attention to detail, workmanship and price all combined, especially up against a large retail store.

Dan did a great job of repairing the frame of a watercolor that had fallen off the wall. Nice guy, fair prices.

If you need something framed, I highly recommend calling Dan. 

He will meet you at his shop and custom design the frame and mat and glass right there. We looked at 30 different combinations and it felt like he cared more about getting it right than I did. He loves this stuff. Price was very reasonable. I walked in with no clue and ended up with a very cool custom frame made of reclaimed barnwood. I will never go anywhere else for a frame. You can't beat one on one service from the guy actually doing the wood work that takes pride in it. Not to mention the convenience of calling him directly and driving into the building to pick it.

I've had over six pieces of artwork framed by Dan and I am more than impressed by the superior quality and care of the work he does. They range in size from small to extra large movie poster size.  The unique materials & professional matting really elevated the works and they look great in my home. I've also used DVG Framing for making personalized gifts for friends.  I highly recommend this business and will continue using them for my future needs.
