What's a Daybed

I have to admit..

When I recieved a message asking if I could make a built-in day bed I had to google "daybed". But this ship-lapped daybed turned out great! The clients are happy, I'm happy. the mitres on the arms are super tight and I did a herring bone pattern on the back corners that looks pretty sweet also. This is the fourth or fifth project for this couple's house and compliments the ash entertainment center I built for them last year. The ash in both projects came from my friend Steve's mill here in South Minneapolis.
